Going through the 11+ process is a stressful experience for parents and children alike. Adding to this stress is the fact that often school and parents disagree about what’s best for the child. In the end, though, it’s important that parents understand and decide what’s best for their child. My choice was to have my son take tuition from Nidhi.
Nidhi’s lessons were very detailed. She was extremely patient and always explained things to my son until he completely understood the topic. She worked with him to build a strong, solid foundation. Aside from one-to-one tuition, my son also participated in their group lessons.

My daughter would enjoy the new and complex problems, but she often dropped her guard on the aspect of rigour. She would often grasp difficult concepts quickly, but make errors in calculation. Getting her to do repetitive practice would bore her quickly. Nidhi posed her varied and interesting problems and changed those to create practice drills inside the complex problems. She had the perseverance to find exactly what the issue was, to figure out a plan of attack, and then execute it without stretching my daughter’s patience. The deliberate, focused, and efficient practice is something that no other teacher could provide. Being able to operate at all levels with the same enthusiasm and delight that Nidhi does is unique. It has taken my daughter to a Gold Medal at the JMC and a Merit at the Junior Kangaroo, even before she has reached Middle school. We could not be happier.
